Vandalism which left staff at a local hospital “shaken” has been slammed as “mindless” and “unacceptable”.
On Thursday, November 17, vandals deliberately smashed a window at Turner Memorial Hospital in Keith.
No patients or members of staff were injured, but NHS Grampian said that staff were troubled by the incident.
“Thankfully neither patients nor staff were injured,” the health board said.
“But it has left the team shaken up and has disrupted patient care while repairs are carried out.”
“Whoever broke the window should be thoroughly ashamed of their action, which left the staff thoroughly shaken while carrying out their caring duties.
“It was by good luck that there were no staff or patients injured in this malice act. Vandalism is not acceptable in this town.”
