Pro-independence blogger Wings over Scotland has been banned from Twitter – just a week after being reinstated to the social media platform.
The account for the website, operated by Stuart Campbell, was suspended for alleged “hateful conduct” three years ago, however was restored after Elon Musk took over the social media giant.
But it now appears to have been barred again for “violating rules against ban evasion,” with dozens of screenshots shared online showing the “greyed out” version of the profile.
Musk, who brands himself a “free speech absolutist,” has previously criticised what he sees as overly harsh moderation of the site.
Campbell’s account was initially suspended in 2019 for a post that included swearing in an argument with a journalist.
